On Sunday 19th May we held our very first Wellness Workshop for our Gymnasts, Coaches and Parents. Our guest speakers were the brilliant minds of Lydia Lassila , David from Physiohealth Essendon and Dr. Graham Turner (Sports Psychologist) from Gymnastics Victoria. The feedback from everyone was unanimously positive and thankful for such an event. A big thank you to all those involved.
Our level 10 superstar Tilly has been doing what she loves this week at Melbourne Arena for the 2019 Australian Championships. Matilda is representing Victoria at level 10, and our Club and it’s coaches could not be more proud. Tilly competed on Monday and hit 4 for 4 and qualified through to Thursday’s level 10 finals. π«π This is the 4th consecutive year that Matilda has represented Victoria. She has made the team at level 7, level 8, level 9 (she won the floor title and took out 2nd overall ππΌ) and now at level 10. An outstanding achievement and a testament to her resilience and commitment to her gymnastics. And above all she shows respect and warmth to all of those around her, coaches, gymnasts and parents, and is a true asset to the Niddrie family π We would also like to thank Coach Natalie Roberts who has been by her side every step of the way. π
We are so happy and proud to announce that all of our teams at level 3, level 4, level 5 and level 6 have qualified through to Victorian Championship Finals π«ππ« The following gymnasts have qualified individually: Level 5 division 1 - 9 years: Lydia, Cara, Lily and Siena Level 5 division 1 - 10 years: Eloise, Millie and Ruby Level 5 division 1 - 11 years: Layla, Saskia and Lucy Level 5 division 2 - 10 years: Sophie Level 5 division 2 - 11 years: Kirsten Level 5 division 2 - 12 years: Charlotte and Madeleine Level 5 division 2 - 13 years: Taneisha Level 6 division 2 - 11 years: Demi Level 6 division 2 - 12 years: Brooke We wish all of our teams and individual gymnasts, together with your coaches the very best of luck at finals!
